The International Space Station will be replaced by a network of commercial, privately owned and operated low-Earth orbit space stations after 2030. NASA plans to deorbit the ISS and shift its role to a customer of these commercial stations. Several companies, including Axiom Space, Blue Origin, and Voyager Space, are developing their own space stations to succeed the ISS.
